The project gave an economic boost to many area merchants and facilities, through direct purchases for the project and through the construction crew's use of various amenities. Some of these include Morris Signs, Outback Motel, Milton-Freewater restaurants, Milton-Freewater Golf Course, Veterans Memorial Golf Course, Staples, Costco, IKEA, Fred Meyer, US Post Office, Pendleton's Tum-A-Lum Lumber, Humbert Refuse, Doug's Septic Service, Integrity Printing, JoAnn's Fabrics, College Place Home Depot, College Place and Pendleton Wal-Marts, Athena Auto Parts (NAPA), Courtesy Furniture, Wilcox Furniture, Shopko, Sherwin-Williams, Pacific Power, Qwest, Cascade Natural Gas, Pacific Pride, Educational Service District, Price Computers, Heart of the Home, Severe Brothers Saddles, US Bank, Doubletree Cafe, Sugar Shack, Athena Grocery, Engraving Specialties.
